Too busy for pictures

This week (talking about last week), was even busier than the ones before. I am busy with all sorts of things, from trying to set up an enamel screen printing work space in the glass department to picking up my work from several exhibitions that have ended. I have to say that the lecture I gave to the 3rd year students went pretty well (at least that's how I feel about it). The students where very interested even though I didn't have much glass work to show. I am now preparing to give them an introduction to screen printing with glass enamels (powdered glass color) which can then be fired in a kiln to fuse it with the glass plate it's printed on. This is a great thing to try out for me as well as I have done lots of screen prints but none with glass enamels. I'm also going to be present when a company comes in to break down and rebuild the furnace I have been working on at the start of this academic year. It's going to be another busy but very exiting last week before I head of to Japan!
